More Moustaches

Further to our post of five years ago on moustaches but probably not requiring the aid of waxes (excepting 'The General'), we have a further selection of bristles for the professional 'tache wearer. The following are from The Art and Craft of Hairdressing (1958 edition) and will require expert skills.

  1. The Albanians have 27 words for eyebrows and 27 for moustaches, eg—mustage madh (bushy) to mustage posht (drooping ends), holl (thin), varur (droopy), big (handlebar), kacadre (turned up ends), glemb (tapered tips), fshes (long broom-like and bristle-haired), dirs ur (newly sprouted, teen-age), rruar (shaved off).
